The cherry blossom festival Is a feature of the Japan Fair and other blossom themed events. Queen Elizabeth Park is one of the famous places where the event occurs. There is The Big Picnic where people bring their families, friends, and something to sit on. Also, many live entertainments are happening all around the cherry blossom trees. Yoga is another activity that takes place in the park at the time. Many Indigenous groups come and perform from the Chinese fan dancers to drumming groups.
The Night of Light similar to Spring Lights of Illumination is another family friendly event, this involves light displays on the cherry blossoms with music. All of these events are free which makes it an interesting spot to enjoy the Cherry Blossoms.
